Health Belief Model
This week we look more in-depth at the models which affect individual behavior. In Chapters 4-6 you are introduced to various theories such as the Health Belief Model (HBM), Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA), Theory of Planned Behavior, and the Integrated Behavioral Model and their common constructs, strengths and limitations. Consider each theory’s relevance, if any, to your selected health issue addressed in the week 1 paper.
