Specifications for Final Paper
Your Final Paper will be on a topic of your choice related to our course. It may be historic or contemporary as long as it is related to our Perspectives on Genocide.
A) The paper should be between 8-10 pages not counting your bibliography. (The paper should be Double Spaced with a font of 12.)
B) There should be a Title (Example: How Propaganda was used to incite the Rwandan Genocide.)
C) Abstract (Example: Radio Television Libre des Mille Collines was a tool used to help incite the Rwandan genocide that claimed approximately 800,000 lives. The radio was utilized as a propaganda tool to dehumanize the ethnic Tutsi population before the genocide started………………………………)
D) Introduction with question (The Rwandan genocide was one of the most brutal genocides of the 20th century. More people died in fewer days than any genocide in modern history. The Hutu militia had already been mobilized to conduct the genocide and this was aided by a virulent propaganda campaign.
