Discuss on Research instruments are tools that are used to collect data, and each has its advantages and disadvantages. Surveys, interviews, and questionnaires involve gathering information from participants. Surveys are a good way to obtain information from a large group of people. Interviews are more direct, so the information gained from these can be more in-depth and specific, but they are constrained by time and availability. Questionnaires may fall somewhere in the middle of this spectrum.
In this Discussion, you will explore surveys, interviews, and questionnaires related to the topic you selected in Module 1. You will select one research instrument related to your research question and evaluate it for use in your research study.
