The main idea in the research paper is to find something in the story (symbolism, character analysis, theme …) you have something to say about and use critics who either agree or disagree with your idea to support or refute it. You should have 2-3 critical sources besides the original story for the Works Cited page. It needs to be 4-6 pages long (in addition to the Works Cited page) and follow the MLA for format and citations.
