As you have learned within this module, there are several types of neurological disorders. Some neurological disorders are called “degenerative”. A few are listed below:
Parkinson Disease
Multiple Sclerosis
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
Huntington Chorea
Alzheimer Disease
1) Research the speech and swallowing characteristics that occur with these disorders/diseases.
2) Create a PowerPoint, Google Slide or Prezi presentation with 2 slides for each of these disorders/diseases documenting the speech and swallowing characteristics associated with it.
3) Don’t forget to include your references on the final slide (1 for each disorder, more is better)!
