Describe in detail what happens in each of the three stages of its life and explain the role of the updraft and downdraft in each stage. Also include the atmospheric ingredients needed for thunderstorms to form.
2. Write a paragraph describing all of the various hazards associated with a severe thunderstorm and include the three criterion needed for a thunderstorm to be classified as severe.
3. Write a paragraph describing these types of severe thunderstorms: supercells, squall lines, and mesoscale convective systems: Explain what they are, how big they are, and how long they last.
4. Write a paragraph about tornadoes: include information about what they are, their wind speeds, size, how long they last, how far they travel. Explain how they form and how meteorologists detect them.
