Argument Essay Requirements:
1. Write 4 full body pages (plus a title and reference page– 6 pages total) on a specific issue to argue using either the Toulmin, Rogerian, or Middle-ground approach. Choose from the topics in the link above or come up with own
2. Utilize at least 3 credible sources. You should use sources to support your ideas or to provide examples of opposing viewpoints. Use the LIRN Library to find your sources. You can access the LIRN Library in the Canvas navigation bar.
3. In-text citations and references in APA format are required (there should be at least one in-text citation per source, so 3 total (or more) in the paper.
4. Paper MUST include an arguable claim as your thesis statement and at least one counterargument & rebuttal (refutation).
5. Organize/structure your paper according to argument type (Toulmin/Middle Ground/Rogerian). Include which type of argument you chose after your title page title.
