Craft and recommend a strategy to a case client. The course project is divided into five (5) modules and consists of the creation of a written or multimedia strategic management case study on the organization, Alta Colina, as well as an analysis of its strategy and financial health. Use a standard case-study format that includes five sections: a) the strategic crisis or challenge; b) an industry overview; c) company background; d) alternatives; and e) future directions or options. Suggested case length max 10 single-spaced pages, excluding exhibits. Citations should be in APA format and listed as endnotes. Indicate with whom, when, where, and how field interviews or observations were conducted in a separate citation. Exhibits or Appendices should be numbered and presented consecutively at the END of the case, but please summarize each exhibit in your case narrative. Write everything using the PAST tense. The written analysis (Instructor’s Manual) should cover the following: (a) Synopsis of the case; (b) Background and reflection on the writing of the case; (c) Learning objectives of the case; (d) Theoretical foundation for the case and case analysis; and (e) Questions posed in developing the case, rationale for those questions, and suggested answers with evidence and data to support.
