Objective

Step 1

Review the details of a scene from “Minority Report.”
The scene occurs at the beginning of the movie. In this scene, the pre-crime division is furiously trying to stop a murder before it is committed. A man notices another man hanging around his neighborhood. He has a suspicion about his wife and leaves their house, only to hang around and wait out his suspicion. Meanwhile, the pre-crime unit witnesses the spousal murder as it comes out of the pre-cogs’ brains. The actual murder will occur in a few minutes, but the police don’t know exactly where the family lives and are trying to comb through the dreams of the pre-cog to get an address before it’s too late. The husband’s crime is averted at the last second, and he is arrested for “pre-murder,” haloed with the brain-draining metal band, and sent to prison.

Step 2

Prepare a 100-150 word paper that answers the following:

How does actus rea apply to this scene?

2. What is Actus Reus?[Scenario 2]

Objective

Describe actus reus

How does actus rea apply to this sceneThis assignment has two scenerios, one dealing with Mens Rea and the other dealing with Actus Rea. Read and answer both scenerios.

Deliverables: A 100-150 word paragraph for each scenario. You should have 2 paragraphs total when finished. Save and submit your assignment.

What element of a crime would you argue was missing?
2. What is Actus Reus?[Scenario 2]

How does actus rea apply to this sceneThis assignment has two scenerios, one dealing with Mens Rea and the other dealing with Actus Rea. Read and answer both scenerios.

Deliverables: A 100-150 word paragraph for each scenario. You should have 2 paragraphs total when finished. Save and submit your assignment.

How does actus rea apply to this sceneThis assignment has two scenerios, one dealing with Mens Rea and the other dealing with Actus Rea. Read and answer both scenerios.

Deliverables: A 100-150 word paragraph for each scenario. You should have 2 paragraphs total when finished. Save and submit your assignment.

How does actus rea apply to this sceneThis assignment has two scenerios, one dealing with Mens Rea and the other dealing with Actus Rea. Read and answer both scenerios.

Deliverables: A 100-150 word paragraph for each scenario. You should have 2 paragraphs total when finished. Save and submit your assignment.
