Part 1: Essay
Your essay should include the following:
An introduction to your social issue linked to race and identity in America and specify the objective of your exhibition: to inform us about a social issue, or persuade someone to take action
A brief analysis of each of the four artworks you selected: a description of the work of art, what you believe the work of art means, and the extent to which you believe the artwork is successful.
Your formal analysis should specify how the artist’s identity impacts how you interpret the artwork.
Your paper should be 3-4 pages, in APA format. APA Format includes a title page, 1″ margins, 12 point font in Arial or Times New Roman, and is double spaced.
You are required to cite at least 2 reputable research sources on your social issue or artworks. Research citations must include in-text citations as well as a separate references page that includes full citations of all of your research sources.
