Then it hits you, why give it a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when you can teach it how to make one? That way you won’t have to make any more sandwiches for this alien in the future. Using AT LEAST 300 words, write the instructions for how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Unlike other procedural texts, this should be written in full sentences, and in essay form. Be sure to include the steps in the process, the necessary ingredients, and all tools that are required. Keep in mind that the alien does not have the same understanding of things on this planet as you do, so you will need to explain everything using as much detail as possible. (For example, the alien doesn’t know what a knife is, so you will need to describe it for them). You will have two class periods to complete this assignment.
