two personal reflections about the experience of divorce; one from the point of view of a transgender parent, the other from the point of view of her daughter. These will serve as a case study for your paper. In your paper, you will need to address the following points:
What developmental information would you need to consider if you were working with this family? What are the unique needs of the parent? The child?
What contextual factors (individual, family, and sociocultural) are important to consider in this case?
How do you believe a psychologist can best support this family?
How might things be different in this case if the child was older? Younger? Be sure to support your answer with the developmental literature.
How might things be different in this case if the parent was the mother? Explain your answer.
