A research summary is a brief overview of conducted research – typically an article from a peer-reviewed academic journal. Research summaries describe the research to readers, helping them to engage with and interpret the work. When done effectively, a research summary accurately and concisely captures the essence of the research effort.
From a funding perspective, it can be helpful to critique a research summary to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of the research. In this Discussion you will critique research summaries to identify strengths and limitations that could impact funding for such a project.
