When thinking about racism, write an essay to demonstrate the progression, regression, stagnation of the (P-20) educational system by comparing and contrasting a symbolic, historical, or important event/situation from the past with a more recent symbolic, historical, or important educational event/situation. Discuss:
• the importance of the events
• why the events occurred
• how the events are related to racism
• how they ended and/or were resolved
Then you will compare and contrast the two events discussing the similarities and differences. If feasible, you may include a chart to enhance your paper.
