Each student will develop an informational resource guide focused on sexual abuse/ survivor issues. The scope of the topic is extremely broad and may include a variety of populations (e.g., children, adolescents, men, women, perpetrator, vulnerable populations), and a variety of issues (e.g., spirituality and sexual abuse, sexual abuse and sexual minority populations, sexual abuse and populations with disabilities, internet pornography, human trafficking). A list of suggested topics will be provided. Information should be complied from a variety of sources including but not limited to books, journal articles, magazines, popular literature, audio-visual media, local and national resources, speaker’s bureaus, upcoming workshops/institutes, professional experts, treatment facilities, and websites. At least thirty sources are required. Each entry should include a brief description of the information. Students will distribute their resource guides to other students in the class via a shared google drive, email, or any other acceptable modality.
