Week 9: Case Study “Hiring and Training for a Luxury Property”
Utilizing the articles and videos shared the first nine weeks of the course, identify the steps of hiring and training employees for a deluxe/luxury property. Answer the following questions in your paper;
1. What are the traits, skills and education an ideal front of house candidate would possess?
2. Clearly identify the different training philosophy employed in a deluxe/luxury property?
3. How might the location of your deluxe/luxury property impact your hiring and training processes?
Include an introduction as well as a conclusion. Consider listing specific properties in your analysis as a compare/contrast.
Your paper will be 5 to 6 pages total in length, following APA 7th edition format (typewritten, double-spaced, 1” margins, Times New Roman font size 12, etc.).
Please do not use the questions from the case study as ‘headings’ in your paper.
A minimum of three (3) APA formatted sources is required, not including the textbook. Be sure to cite your sources following APA format.

Wikipedia will NOT be recognized as a source for research and will not be accepted as a citation/reference in any paper and/or project assigned in this course.
The articles used for weekly assignments, papers and project must be peer reviewed or scholarly articles and cannot be used more than once for the different papers/presentations.
Note: Late assignments will not be accepted unless arranged in advance with the instructor.
