Introduction to the Problem
What is the situation? What has happened or is happening that is cause for your attention? Take a couple of paragraphs to detail an outline of the main issues involved. Always assume that your reader knows nothing of the assignment task and provide enough background information to give a context for your discussion of the issues. Introduce the main goal you hope to achieve with your proposal. What would you like to see happen as a result of your solution?
introduction and thesis:
I chose Media literacy in schools, and ways it is evolved for my topic. Media literacy in
school connects to contemporary media literacies because it enables students to see
how the world is represented by the media. Students are able to thoroughly use
techniques, specific skills, and tools. I chose this topic because there is a misconception
about how students use the internet. I think this research could help people to
understand the benefits, the negative side of the internet, and the ways it evolved for
school-age kids. I will be basing claims on facts and examples for my argument. My tentative
claim is that k-12 students can learn the best of the internet without being pulled into its
worst areas

Discuss the issues raised during your analysis of the problem. Use research from your annotated bibliography to help you think through possible solutions. Be sure to include references to your research and one of the theories from class to support your ideas and analysis. Your discussion will include the following items.
A description of the issue and its implications for, or relationship to, different stakeholders
How the issue links to theories or research in the academic literature, that is how do your ideas fit with the research you’ve done? Do your ideas differ? Are they in line? Are they close but extend the thinking you’ve found in your research? How are you margining into the ongoing conversation about this issue?
Suggested solutions or ideas
Evaluation of the solutions or ideas for this particular issue; how well do you think your proposed solution will work?
Acknowledge (and Counter) Alternative Views
What might people say who don’t agree with you? How would address their concerns or doubts about your ideas?
Recommendations and Conclusion
Finally, sum up the conclusions that you have found and give recommendations to resolve the situation raised in the proposal. Give reasons for your recommendations. What is the significance of your analysis of the problem? What’s at stake if this problem isn’t addressed?
