Topic sentence for 20-sentence body PP about how the dream relates to three characters in the novel [or just to Jay Gatsby should you so choose]
Closing PP—about 5 or more sentences
In summary, [3 sentences that restate the three body PPs’ topic sentences
In conclusion, [a restatement of the paper’s thesis
A hint of things to come, something left unaddressed

Using quotes:
You have three very different body PPs in Paper One:
The dream in general terms.
The dream as it applies to an aspect of the novel, like setting or symbols or themes
The dream as it applies to three characters including Jay Gatsby.
Use at least two quotes from outside sources or from the novel to support two body PPs. Use MLA in-text citations and Works Cited page for formatting.
