Answer either one of these two questions:
1.) If you could change the laws regarding sentencing, commutation, pardons and paroles, what changes would you advocate to reduce the number of elderly offenders that remain in prison, and how would you address their needs for housing, medical and mental health care, and other social needs, if released from prison?
2.) Why do you think the vast majority of allegations/ complaints of “sexual assault” are determined to be “unsubstantiated” after investigation, and what changes would you recommend to both encourage reporting of sexual assaults and also to improve the quality of the investigations?
3.) Do you think that the DOC and CT taxpayers should have to pay for gender transition surgery, and related cosmetic procedures, for example, hair removal, or breast enhancement surgery, for an inmate with gender dysphoria, born as a biological male, [Nicholas Clark] but who now has identified as female, and legally has changed her name to Veronica May Clark? Why or why not? Explain your position on this question and the basis for your decision.
