Based on your interest, can you formulate an idea from your interest? What is the idea? An example might be – Can I show a relationship between poverty and crime? If so, what evidence substantiates the correlation? If not, why?
Create a question or problem statement from your idea. Example: Is there a direct relationship between poverty and criminal activity?
What can you do with the information you gather from conducting this research? Example: Depending on the research results, I might be able to create a program to help low-income families/individuals with strategies to overcome criminal behavior.
