Ms Scarlet is a first year Grade 1 educator the principal evaluated her lesson and provided feedback. During
feedback, Mr Hawk made the following points:
1. there was not much evidence that the learners were provided with opportunities to
think as most questions were simple factual and recall;
2. the majority of the questions revolved around class routine and management;
3. few questions require learners to engage in complex thought; and
4. the learners were not involved in their learning.
