The task is to create a business operations part of a business plan (about 2000 words long)
Must include:
Distribution and Manufacturing
Office
Equipment
Research and Development (R&D)
Operations Timeline
Future Objectives (highlights our objectives for the next 5 years)
Here are some info about the business:
The business is a company providing crypto mining rigs for rent for it’s costumers and is looking for a VC. The company can be based in any country (head office is London-based) with a lot of sunny days (as for our main energy source we are using solar panels), but also it should be legal in this country to do such a business and energy costs should be low in case we have to use external energy (if our solar panels deliver unsufficient energy). Taxes and rent of land should be low. For this a research should be made with reffering sources proving the best possible option is being chosen.
Office is London-based, so the market should be researched, choosing relatively cheap option with good location (referincing necessary here).
Equipment part must be researched, sites like Alibaba (or any other) can be used for finding necessary rigs and solar panels. Note that solar panels must deliver sufficient energy (+ some extra for reserve) for amount of rigs we use.
For research and development part you can include buying more solar panels, storing more energy using batteries, expanding our facilities or anything else you can imagine in this part will be really good to include.
Operations Timeline: for all this project we assume of we already have invested in total 120 000 pounds so we have a website, an app, some equipment, facilities, we covered legal expenses, salaries. We are opereting for two years at this point and are looking for 2 000 000 pounds of VC to expand our business. So all the project must be counted for 2000000 of VC in total.
Future objectives for the next five years must be made up. You can imagine whatever you want here.
Please refer as much as possible (20 isn’t really a target, pls just use where necessary).
