In our previous essay, we examined and constructed an argument based on how media represents gender. In Essay 2, we will continue our argumentative skills by comparing other viewpoints on gender. The goal of this essay is to get you to practice using quotes, analysis, and rhetorical analysis to enhance your own argumentative and essay writing skills.
For this essay, you will construct a compare and contrast essay discussing two authors or speakers that we have read or watched over the semester. Your thesis will answer the main essay question listed above.

You will bring in a total of 4-6 main points from these two pieces and determine which author/speaker has the stronger argument. You must discuss at least 2 major points from both articles or videos. Based on the information you bring in, you will determine who has the stronger argument and why?
As you write, you may consider thinking and writing about how each speaker tries to appeal to their audience. You may consider a few of the following to assist your analysis in their points: the use of personal examples, research, data/statistics, cultural information, tone, language, relatability, audience, education, influencer status, mode of presentation, accessibility, etc.
