c. Descriptive Statistics Used. Explain the descriptive statistics that will be used to characterize your data.
For example, “Boxplots and mean bar plots are used to illustrate differences in mean weight across gender and age groups. Correlations and regression analysis are used to assess the impacts of height on the weight of the participants. Side-by-side bar plots are used to determine if there is an association between gender and being overweight. Quantitative variables, such as weight, heart rate, and height are summarized by computing the means, standard deviation, andfive-number summary, while qualitative variables are summarizes using contingency tables, marginal tables, and computations of appropriate proportions/percentages”.

Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA):
In this section, you should include a thorough univariate EDA for each variable you include in your data analysis, a thorough univariate EDA for your quantitative variable separated by eachfactor group (e.g. what percent of the sample is male/female, what is the mean GPA overall, in the different groups, etc.), and appropriate bivariate EDAs. Figures/graphs can be nice to illustrate these differences! However, the information presented must be relevant in helping to answer the research question(s) of interest. Any R/Rguroo table should be converted into properly constructed tables. Any graphs should be properly titled and labeled. (Any tables constructed and/or graphs should be placed in the Appendix if you do not want them to count towards the number of allowed pages for the write-up.) This section should look like a peer-reviewed journal article results section. Tables and figures should have clear captions/descriptions, be numbered, and properly cite in the write-up. Your analyses should be typed, carefully written (concise and grammatically correct), and refer to graphs and tables as appropriate.
Assessment:• Is the content appropriate for a results section? Is there a clear description of the results? (10 pts)
• Are the results/data analyzed well? Given the data in each figure/table, is the interpretation accurate and logical? Is the analysis of the data all complete (anything ignored?) (10 pts)
• Are the figures/tables appropriate for the data being discussed? Are the figure legends and titles clear and concise? (5 pts)
