The overall research objectives (RO) of this thesis are as follows:
RO 1: To analyze the impact ESG has on facilities management and organizations. Explore the impact of the daily tasks of a facility manager on an organization’s ESG goals.
RO 2: To define the technologies that add value to the Facilities Management process and procedures.
RO 3: To investigate the Return on investment (ROI) of incorporating ESG and new technologies, such as digital-twin and Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS).
RO4: To develop a framework to introduce ESG to the facility managers’ working process effectively.
