If there could be a voiceover summating each slide that would be a simple form of what i think a video recording might easiest be done.
Since there are only going to be 8 slides id like to have the additional information added to the notes at the bottom of the slides, where the presenter can see but the audience cannot. This information is what i imagine your voice over to replicate kindly.
