Overview
The final paper will be in the form of a research-based essay, approximately 13 -14 pages in length (title and references not included). The topic should focus on one of the themes from this course. For example, topics could explore the roles played by forensic psychologists within the legal system, interrogation techniques, false confessions, polygraph use and misuse, profiling, police line-ups, the use of expert testimony, eyewitness memory issues, jury selection, or fitness to stand trial. This is not an exhaustive list and you can consult your textbook for more topics.
The paper should be supported by at least five (5) peer reviewed academic sources. The format for citations and style can be either APA or Chicago style, but not a mix of the two.
