Identity Formation
In chapter 9 of your text, the authors begin taking us into adolescence where, according to Erik Erikson, the search for identity begins. Write about some of the key concepts in this stage of development and use your own examples to illustrate them. Looking back on adolescence, how did you use hypothetical reasoning skills to experiment with different selves? How does your understanding of your ethnicity and culture contribute to your identity?
