please find and choose your own article that:
Has been published within the past 15 years (meaning it CANNOT be later than 2008)
Is associated with any of the past weeks’ readings/topics (Brain Injury or Child Development)
Is an empirical/original study, systematic review, or meta-analysis. Again, it MUST be an original research paper. If you’re unsure, please email me a PDF of the paper and I can check for you.
NO opinion or commentary papers. It will say “opinion” near the top of the article/paper.
NO book chapters.
Once you find and read your article, please answer the following questions:
QUESTIONS
In one paragraph, summarize the article in your own words. Please do not plagiarize any part of the article.
What is the significance of the information presented in this article?
What limitations are there with the findings or material presented in this article? Describe how you might be able to overcome these limitations in future research studies. Be specific about what factors you would manipulate and what factors you would measure in future experiments on this topic.
What do you think about the article or topic? What additional questions do you have about the article or topic?
(Optional) How will this article influence and inform your future thoughts/work?
Lastly, please make sure to submit a PDF of the article you chose to the D2L submission page. As a heads up, the Turnitin function will be a little funky and I’m fully aware that it will increase the plagiarism percentage.
