Write a clear and concise research paper focusing on two ethnic groups (except White Ethnic Americans) and discuss/compare their relations/experiences to the dominant group. Discuss/compare how and why the two ethnic groups chosen have differing relationships to the dominant group and how the history between the two groups (Each chosen ethnic minority group and the dominant group) has played a significant role and continues to do so. Make sure to include what the relations are today.
Remember: the paper isn’t necessarily a comparison to the dominant group ( ie. Comparing Hispanics to whites on things like wealth, and comparing Asians to whites on wealth etc) but more specifically, each ethnic groups’ experience in relation to the dominant group and why ( ie, Hispanic relation to dominant group over time, how this was established, and how that is similar or different than Asians and their relation to the dominant group, and why). I’m specifically looking for the terms we established in the first half of the class (when we focused on important terminology), as they are essential for describing the relationships.
