The PICO question that I came up with for my literature review is: In the African American/black community (P), how is mental illness perceived (I) and does this perception have an effect on their help-seeking behavior (O)?

The content should be well organized, identifying key aspects of the phenomenon and using the subject headings, as appropriate. In this section, you will synthesize a critique of reviewed studies on issues of research design, framework, sampling methods, measurement tools, analysis, and reporting of results. You should include 9 current (i.e., less than 5-10 years old) and pertinent studies for use in the literature review. Any references should be properly cited following APA formatting guidelines. Do not use literature reviews, consensus reports or systematic reviews

In this section, you will summarize the findings from the literature. You will also identify implications for nursing practice and make recommendations for future practice and research. Any references should be properly cited following APA formatting guidelines.
