First, read these two blog entries:
“3 Mini-Strategies to Fail 10x More Effectively” by Anthony Moore – info on how to harness the power of failure.
“15 Highly Successful People Who Failed Before Succeeding”by Sebastian Kipman – real-life stories about noted individuals who “failed their way to success.” (Note: The site is one of those that just keeps taking you to new article after new article the longer you scroll, so be mindful of where the end is!)
What can failure teach us as humans? How have you personally dealt with failure in your own life? What are some lessons you’ve learned from these experiences?
THE ASSIGNMENT: I’m looking for a full-on paper here (4 substantive paragraphs or more, with intro, 2 paragraphs of analysis, and a conclusion). Really dig down – make sure you’re including your thoughts on failure’s specific place in the universe as well as your experience with it, and giving lots of info and details. First person is OK. Integrate info from the two blogs linked above. Cite any material that you didn’t make up yourself. Use proper grammar, spelling and MLA formatting (heading, Works Cited page, proper spacing, and so on).
