Human Relations surrounds interactions between the employees and employers.
The difference between human relations is that it ensures the employees are happy and productive whereas human resources regard employees as primary sources for the organisation.
There are two types of theories in human relations and they iclude: theory X and Y.
In thwory X it has a negative outlook on workers because : i) the management has the responsibility to organize company components/
ii) Managers direct the workers activities,then motivate them,direct,and control their behaviours so that they fit the organization.
iii) Managers reward,persuade and punish their works so as to avoid resistance.
In theory Y,there is a positive outlook on the workers because: i) Organizing the company needs for the interests of the economic end is the responsibility of the management.
ii) Management focuses on the creation of a system where workers are able to achieve their goals in line with the company’s goals.
iii) People are motivated,have potential for their development,and have readiness to direct their behaior.
