After having studied the preparatory material, write a paper about the local dialect and use of hand gestures of the region, city or town, or area of your itinerary. In your paper address also the following questions and write your personal opinions: Why Italy has so many local languages? Can some of them be considered actual languages? Explain your answer. How do you think this phenomenon compares to the United States? Also: Are there particular hand gestures that are typically associated with the region you are exploring in your itinerary?
