The long paper assignment will ask you to interpret and analyze documents listed below. Quotes from at least three of these documents must figure prominently in your essays. Each quote must be followed by a citation in the MLA format for example: (Epic of Gilgamesh document). Quotes from the narrative portions of the textbook are also required (also use correct MLA citation: (Berger, World History, p. 33), as they will enable you to make solid observations about the civilizations that you will be discussing in the paper.
