In this assignment, you will conduct a walkthrough of an app (to be randomly assigned in class) using a variation of the method mentioned in Ben Light, Jean Burgess, and Stephanie Duguay’s article, “The walkthrough method: An approach to the study of apps.” You might think about your write-up as a way to help future historians understand both the day-to-day use and larger context of the app you’ve been assigned.
There are two parts to this assignment, a paper (part 1) and a diagram/infographic (part 2). Both parts are due on March 10.
