Some films have been praised by many people in the psychology field for the way emotional development is portrayed. Some psychology instructors use films as their primary sources to teach and discuss physical, social, and emotional development of humans. Your task is to carefully examine a film that attempts to depict a psychosocial stage of human development. Then, determine how accurately the film’s depiction of a psychosocial stage of human life span matches up with the classroom discussions, textbook, and additional resources utilizes for this Lifespan and Growth Development class. As an additional resource, consider your own experience, and determine if film’s depiction of the psychosocial stage matches up with your experiences (if applicable).
