Elements required:
Identify one original research article related to some aspect of stress and coping that interests you.
Describe the hypothesis, methodology, and results of the study, as well as a description of how such research is relevant to neurobiology and clinical practice.
Identify a stressor that you currently encounter in your life.
Describe the nature of the stressor(e.g., acute, chronic, mild, intense, physical, psychological) and their subsequent response to the stressor (e.g., passive, active).
Discuss your coping profileand propose ways to modify these strategies that will provide a buffer against the toxicity of the chronic stress response.
Include at least 4 references from current professional journals in social work, psychology, psychiatry, or other closely related fields.
Use APA format to cite all references.
This paper should be 3-5 pages of content in length, not including the title and references page. Students must include a title page and references page, but no abstract is required.
