Sources for your paper should include at least two books or book chapters (you may use the course textbook as one resource), three to five journal articles written by your person, about your person, or about your person’s contribution to psychology, and one dependable Internet source. The paper will be prepared according to APA style, will be 10 – 12 typewritten pages in length (does not include the cover and reference pages) and will be written in third-person narrative style. Each of the three parts of your paper should be approximately the same length (3-4 pages). Ensure that all factual statements in the paper are properly referenced and/or cited. The references used in the creation of the research paper will be obtained using library research using resources available through the local library or by using the online databases discussed in class. Librarians will provide specific instruction in the effective and efficient use of the resources to individuals and to groups. The eminent person paper must be completed and submitted for review prior to conducting the video presentation.
Specifically, your paper will contain information on the following:
a succinct summary of your person’s life that identifies the prevailing intellectual and cultural climate of the era,
a description your person’s contribution to psychology, and,
the historical development and status of your person’s contribution.
