Write a Proposal to Help Low Income Students Receive Access to Technology
-Start by connecting back to primary research – the school district wanted hot spots
-Talk about the benefits of access to high-speed / consistent internet
-Implementation – having parental guidelines / make sure illicit websites aren’t visited
-Having some pool of money included in the grant for repair and replacement
-Having a pool of money for monthly subscription fees – make sure that the amount of hotspots we buy is small enough that we can sustain plan for 3-5 years
-Explanation of the plan – providing hotspots to the school that can get checked out to the school
-Explain why we didn’t choose other options – laptops, tablets, etc. (the school district didn’t want them)
