Using your favorite web browser, search the internet for a police department’s de-escalation policy. A police department’s de-escalation policy is often listed in the police manual or training manual.
Develop a PowerPoint presentation that includes one or more slides for each of the following topics concerning the department’s de-escalation policy:
de-escalation policy’s openness and transparency,
de-escalation tactics and techniques,
team tactics,
communication,
training, and
avoiding re-escalation.
Your PowerPoint presentation should be a minimum of eight slides in length, including the title and reference slides. You will not be required to provide speaker notes for this presentation. Please adhere to APA 7th Ed. Style when developing this assignment. References will be required for all sources that are used.
