The topics discussed during this health policy course are relevant to current events in health care in the country. In this course, you are expected to develop the ability to use these concepts to identify, analyze, and evaluate current health and health care issues.
Instructions
For the RFTH assignment, you are required to select one of the following:
A recent (within the past month) news article (sources could include the list of websites found in the syllabus) that relates to the course content
Or
The latest article from a scholarly/academic journal, which can be identified using the Hofstra University Library system
You must present the major themes contained within your selected article, including an analysis and evaluation of major policy issues related to the course material.
Presentation Guidelines and Rubric
2–5 student presentations will be accepted during any one week, until all students have shared their presentations.
The PowerPoint presentation must be a minimum of 5 minutes long and not exceed 10 minutes.
