structure of the poem (line breaks, stanza breaks)
poetic conventions (if yours is a particular type of poem like a sonnet)
the rhythm
the rhyme
imagery
symbolism
the tone/mood
punctuation
literary devices (can only be one of the three)
5. Use bold font to highlight any literary terms that you use in your essay. Use at least three (3) literary terms, but you may use more.
7. Your essay should contain a minimum of 3 direct quotes from the poem.
