The work is to be original, not a review of someone else’s thoughts; therefore, avoid long direct quotes and lists. There is no one best number of references. A good number of references are 6-10.
There is no one best length. A good rule of thumb is 10 to 15 pages, exclusive of tables and figures. The paper should be related to managerial accounting.
