The Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretative Statements was developed to guide nurses in ethical decision making and analysis. Nurses are expected to adhere to and
embrace the standards of these provisions which include our values, morals, and ideals of the nursing profession (ANA, 2015).
You will be introduced to the nine provisions outlined in the Code of Ethics for Nurses.
You will have one written assignment for this module using APA format.
It is expected that you will use the Tutoring Center to assist writing your paper in APA (2020), 7th Ed., Concise Gude to APA Style that is the official student guide for APA format.
Each assignment is worth 100%.
Make an appointment with the Tutoring Center EARLY in the paper writing process so you can address any issues identified.
Paper will be graded by the Rubric attached to the assignment in Blackboard.
Guidelines:
Include a title page.
Include an introduction.
An abstract is not required.
Use each provision as a Level 1 heading
Each provision should have at least 2 well constructed paragraphs.
A paragraph is comprised of at least 3 well constructed sentences.
You may use first person and discuss what the provision means to you (or perhaps a personal experience relating to the provision).
The body of the paper should not exceed 9-10 pages
This excludes the title page and the reference page.
Include a summary or conclusion at the end of your paper.
This assignment will be submitted to SafeAssign and be less than 26% similarity score.
The tutoring center staff can run your paper as a draft to prevent a falsly elevated similarity score.
Spelling and grammar are important.
Use the editor feature in Word to correct most issues.
This paper must be in APA format.
