Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to have students integrate the knowledge of social policies and apply understanding of social, economic, and environmental justice to propose new policy that advocates for human rights at the systems level. Students will apply their knowledge of Jansson (2018) and CDC (2016) policy analysis and evaluation frameworks against their selected social issue, target population and applicable social policies. The student will explain how they would leverage social media to promote awareness about the social issue and the new social policy for a vulnerable population. The students will use recent research evidence, facts, and relevant statistics to support the information presented in the PowerPoint presentation.

Policy Overview: Provides a comprehensive overview of two federal policies that addresses the social issue for the target population.
Policy Analysis: Uses Jansson (2018) or CDC (2016) policy framework to analyze different aspects of the two selected federal policies.
Policy Evaluation: Use CDC policy framework to evaluate different aspects of the two policies.
New Policy Proposal: Develop and present a new policy proposal to address the social issue and improve on existing policy.
Social Media: Discuss the role of social media to promote the policy.
Conclusion: Provide a brief conclusion statement that includes all the key elements discussed in the paper.
