Nursing does a good job at identifying problems by assessing health needs of various populations who experience health inequities. However, this is only part of our role. The other part is to identify solutions to our current health care problems, especially for various populations who often receive substandard health care simply by virtue of the groups that they belong to.
The purpose of this assignment is to find solutions to health inequities. To complete this assignment, you will choose a population who experiences health inequities, identify 2-3 issues that lead to poor care and discuss 3 possible interventions that may help solve the issues.
This is a voice-over PowerPoint presentation and should not exceed seven (7) slides (not including the introduction slide or reference slides) or 7 minutes in length. Please restrict your presentations to the slide and time limitations. You may use some of the references provided in the “Read” section and well as other evidence-based journal articles.
I’ll be doing the voiceoverpart of the PowerPoint.
