1. The topic for your final research paper (4-5 pages using a minimum of 3 external academic articles/chapters in addition to any assigned class materials- readings, films, etc). This topic ideally will be more focused AFTER you begin your literature search and find materials.
2. List one or two research questions that you will seek to answer as you begin your research. These will likely be refined and develop as you do research. The final sources you end up using may not be ALL the sources you actually engage. Remember that “why” and “how” questions emphasize analysis and connection, while the “what,” “where,” “who,” and “when” questions usually identify the supporting evidence that you need to support your answering the why and how questions)
