This paper should closely examine a film or television show that reveals something significant and insightful about the relationship between race, gender, and sport. The analysis should go further than explaining the plot. Students should use the course concepts to develop a concise argument for the film. Students should use examples from the film/tv show, course materials, and outside research to support their thesis. Student’s papers should go for depth and not breadth. Film/TV show selections must be from this approved list. The paper should include at least three additional (to our course material) scholarly sources. Papers should be 5-6 pages should be formatted according to MLA style. The show I picked was all American.
