Choose one of the following nursing theorists, or you may identify another nursing theorist who has had/may have an impact on your nursing practice.

Write a formal business letter to the theorist that includes (at a minimum):
Address: Put in an address that makes sense for the theorist. Use the university where they are from and the city where they did/do practice.
Paragraph One: Description of the theory in your own words and how you have come to know the theory.
Paragraph Two: Describe a situation or a potential situation where this theory impacted (or will impact) your practice/research. Describe how the theory applied or will apply to the situation.
Paragraph Three: Ask a question about the theory or seek advice on using the theory in practice and/or research.
There are multiple appropriate formats for a formal business letter. Use your free TU LinkedIn Learning account and the Writing Resources tab if you need help finding one. Utilize 1-2 professional nursing sources. You may use your textbook as one of your references. Don’t forget to cite the original work in which the theory was published! Although you would not typically include a reference page with a letter, please do so with this assignment in order to properly cite your sources and get some practice with in-text citations and references. First-person is permitted for this assignment.
